This is how to make a SECOND Set of recovery disks. should you mess up the FIRST time doing them, purchased a used notebook and the owner didn't supply you with them, if you loose them or they get damaged.
Please Follow these steps in order to get through this.
1) Delete the file RMCStatus.bin (hidden) from two places:
- C:\Program Files(x86)\Hewlett-Packard\Recovery Manager\
- The root of a drive D:\ (RECOVERY partition)
2) Remove Rebecca.dat ( hidden) from:
- C:\Windows\System32\
